To see your current version on your IsatPhone 2, go to Menu > Settings > About > Firmware version. 

Please follow the steps below in sequence.

To identify between the I Sat Phone 2 and I Sat Phone 2.1 handset

Mandatory firmware upgrade for handsets – the features introduced by the firmware are critical for the functionality of the GSPS service that will provide bug fixes

In order to upgrade the handset’s firmware you must have a PC running Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or XP.

STEP ONE

Download – USB Drivers

Please note, you will need to install the USB drivers first before connecting the handset to your PC.

If you do not do this, Windows will try to use another driver that is not compatible and therefore, it will not work.

Driver installation is a 3 step process

• Download drivers
• Unzip drivers
• Install drivers

USB Drivers are compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8 and 10.

STEP TWO
Firmware version 02.00.03 supersedes the firmware version 02.00.01
